Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries trade in and prop up the dollars for there oil. In turn America buys there oil and then with the the dollars given to them they buy American weapons and  allow a continued military presence in the region.  Since the end of the  gold  standard America has backed there currency  with oil but  now the oil is running out  counties in the middle east  are turning away for America and ending the global supremacy.

U-Ram Choe Liverpool Biennial Posters

Every two years the city of Liverpool is host to an extraordinary range of artworks, projects and a dynamic programme of events. It is the largest international contemporary art festival in the UK.

U-Ram Choe's work engages a fanciful dialogue of aesthetics and machinery, and explores themes of biological transformation, flight, and movement.

In his recent work, large-scale metal and plastic automata materialise with such a delicacy and weightlessness that it seems to take on the shape and silhouette of an organic life form. Motors, heat and light sensitive materials add to the intricacy of Choe's kinetic sculptures

Hive Presents posters

The Hive Collective is a group of audio and visual artists that has been at the forefront of developing innovative electronic music and audiovisual performance in Liverpool since the organisation was established in 2003. During this period Hive has run a series of events in the Box at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), has staged three successful international festivals, and has promoted a number of one-off performances in art spaces and clubs.
The Hive Collective aims to promote new and exciting electronic music throughout Liverpool. They are interested not only in the sound of virtual stones dropping into infinite wells of zen-like depth or pile-driving 4-to-the-floor techno but in all forms of innovative electronica.
